The browser has nothing to do with Emailing. You do need to have a Data Package to enable emailing, however. If you do not, your carrier will charge you by the KB for emails, which can get very, very expensive.
I have AT%26amp;T, and I pay $49.99 a month for unlimited Emails, Texts and Internet.
