Is Emailing teachers about homework weird?

When i'm absent from class, I always email my teacher asking him if he can send me anything I missed via-email. It's less time-consuming then going to visit him, since I don't have the time in school to search him down.

someone I know thinks its weird.....just wondering what your thoughts on this are.
Is Emailing teachers about homework weird?
Not weird at all.

I do that all the time when I miss class.

:]

It's called being R.E.S.P.O.N.S.I.B.L.E. Haha.

Reply:If the teacher in question is agreeable to being emailed about missed classes or homework, then by no means is it "weird". It is better to know what you have to catch up on than to remain in the dark and have an overload of work.
Reply:It completely depends on the teacher. There's nothing weird about it. Email is the most used and appropriate form of communication in modern times, so why wouldn't you use it? Just ask your teacher what he/she prefers.
Reply:Nope. Happens all the time. Just keep it impersonal and on the topic of the class and it's perfectly normal.
Reply:def. not weird. emailing teachers has become quite common to receive work, or even help from time to time. i do it all the time
Reply:I dont think it is wierd at all. Personally that would not be what I would do.
Reply:no as long as it goes no further than school work
