My ex is emailing himself my recent history & files I use on my pc. How can i stop him?

He has probably installed some kind of key-logger or trojan in your pc...You can use an antivirus to scan through your hard-drive to locate that malicious program and delete it.If that doesn't work the best solution is to backup your data and format your hard drive and while you're at it change every single password you may have from e-mail to any site membership.

Reply:Change your password(s).
Reply:It's possible your ex has infected your system with a trojan remote access agent, or a key logger, scan your system and then reset all administrative level passwords. make sure file sharing isnt applied as well.
Reply:Backup your system (all the files you want to keep anyhow) and then do a complete (Full not quick) re-format and re-install. It is likely that he installed a monitoring program such as those that a parent installs to watch their children's' computers. Unless you know how to find it, you're better off re-installing everything and that will wipe out whatever program he may have installed.
Reply:if he had access to ur pc or passwords change all ur passwords and personally i would reformat ..
Reply:Change your password he should not be able to access your account then, i dont know if this will work but it sounds logical?
Reply:Call the cops.
Reply:how can he do that?

does he still have access to your pc?
Reply:He may be telling you porky pies.

Reply:If you are sure about this, you should contact your local police and ask to speak to the high-tech crimes task force. What you are describing is a felony in most jurisdictions, and the police will have the software to examine your drive and find any software he may be using to send himself the data from your workstation.
Reply:YOUR pc? Has it got access to it?

Take previous advice and change passwords. Also, internet/tools/options/browing history delete.
Reply:tell him 2 stop
Reply:Possible hes BSing

Possible you have a virus

Possible he uploaded a keylogger

Possible he uploaded a ChildWatch program

End all solution: copy your files and stuff onto a cd, floppy or flash drive. Do full reinstall.

Temporary solution: set your system back
