How do i get cell phone video onto my comp. w/out emailing it to myself??

i bought a USB cable that plugs into the phone and into the computer...there has to be some way to transfer the videos to the computer through this...right? because i can't send them to myself because it requires that you pay an extra $5/month which i don't want to pay. so how do i transfer the videos to my computer using the USB cable?

Even though you have a USB Cord, you still need the software for the phone downloaded to your computer. Example: I have a RAZR with Mobil Phone Tools. Once your USB is connected and your phone is connected as well, you have to open the Software (something like Mobile phone tools) and it will have an area in that software to do this task.
Reply:You need software on the PC to transfer stuff from the phone to the PC. The software should have come with the phone-to-PC cable or with the phone itself. Check your phone's documentation.





You might also want to check's the phone manufacturer's web site and/or the web site for the vendor of the phone-to-PC cable.
Reply:Your phone should of came a cable to hook to your pc. That will allow you accomplish what you want.
