emailing, how do i hide recipients from each other when forwarding on several at same time. Does it have something to do with the BCC?
Emailing, how to hide recipients from each other when forwarding on several at same time?
Enter all of your recipients addresses in the BCC column. Enter your own email adress in the "to" column, and you recipients will only be able to see your name/address %26amp; their own name/adress. BCC stands for blind carbon copy.
Reply:Email programs vary a little but you're right, it's generally the BCC option. With some programs you have to send a copy 'To' someone, so send it to yourself. Other programs you can send them all BCC.
CC stands for Circulation Copy (or something like that). The 'B' stands for 'Blind', as in: no-one sees it.
Oh, and well done. It's far better than spreading peoples e-addresses across the internet.
