What should I type when emailing girls on dating sites?

I've got a profile on Yahoo! Personals and Plentyoffish and every single time I email a girl whose profile is in my criteria, they either NEVER respond, my email gets deleted, or I may even get a b*itch message in return. WHAT GIVES? I don't understand. I'm a nice, fun, intelligent, and romantic guy with goals in life, I don't look that bad, my profiles are described pretty good, and on Yahoo, whenever I send icebreakers, sometimes, I'll get a positive response. But with emails, it's NEVER!!! I mean...I don't type anything obnoxious, which lots of guys do...but I need some help here and from the women, what should I type that would make you respond positively? Even if our interests are common, still, I get resisted. I'm getting closer to giving up online dating and all the dates I've gone on, here in AZ, have been from girls I've met online...

What are you writing? Maybe you should stick to ice breakers for the first response and work off there response back.
Reply:it probably is not you but yahoo personals suck big time. its a large waste of time. i know. try other date sites like match.com cherryblossoms.com megafriends.com but check them out first before you have to join to really get serious.just start out by who are, from where, what you do,, what kind of person you are, and what you are looking for and on and on

Reply:Say something complimenting about their profile? Obviously, there was something there that made you initiate an email, so tell them what that was, whether they look attractive or something in their bio that you enjoyed reading about them and ask them a question that might require them to respond. Its still no guarantee that you will get a response as you should never expect one anyway. Just keep emailing as many as you can, you're bound to get some response, just don't expect one back from each of the ones you've emailed.

Reply:You should talk on a messenger instead of sending boring old e-mails. Its very easy to sign up for msn or yahoo messenger. (msn is better). It helps alot being able to talk back and forth instead of waiting 10 minutes for an e-mail reply. I've been dating a man for 5 months over the computer on msn alone. We are very happy and plan on seeing each other soon. FYI its very impersonal to ask a girl out over the computer to go on a date, just call up on the phone. It shows you took the time and effort to ask. I hope you find someone like i did, good luck :)
