When do you bother emailing someone from yahoo answers dogs?

I have gotten 3 emails today- all very different. I have emailed people in the past if they have an interesting mix of breeds that I may think looks like mine to ask for a pic or other little things like that.





Today my emails were:


1. Your dog is adorable- I adopted too and it was a great decision(which I enjoyed receiving and thanked the sender for)


2. This is what a chihuahua looks like and a website link (I think in response to my teacup chihuahua joke)


3. and I quote "Your dog is not adorable."- whole message.





Would you bother emailing someone just to make a comment like 3? What purpose does it serve to you? I emailed back a sarcastic "while I guess it's back to the shelter for him if a complete stranger thinks he's not adorable". I guess sarcasm isn't very nice either- but still- why would anyone bother emailing that?

I have turned off the ability for people to send me email. I know a lot of people don't agree with what I have to say (like Pedigree %26amp; Purina dog food is crap, designer dogs are mutts/mixes not 'new breeds', there is no such thing as 'teacup' anything, don't breed your dog if you have no clue what you're doing, etc.), and I don't want to have an inbox full of people trying to defend their uneducated ways.

Reply:I'm still the optimist...***sigh*** ...the sucker. I had one great lady email me- she lost her dog recently and she selected my consolation as her Best Answer. Her personal email was wonderful and touching and it made every sarcastic response I've gotten worth it.





Also, I volunteer at a shelter so I like to have a way for people who might need my help to contact me.

Reply:some people are just plane not nice. anyone who would write that has security issues.
Reply:That's people for you.. They are the same people in life that never want to see you do well, get something nice or have a good life.. They love to tear it down for you, try to make you feel a little bit guilty or bad about something.. The same people that would come over when you bought a new car and say ' yeah it's nice but why did you get it in red ' You know the answer to this, you have likely met these people your entire life.. They aren't happy themselves so it kills them to see you happy about what you have, or do, and especially hate to see you happy with your life..

Hence why I like dealing with animals a hell of a lot more than I do with most people!!
